Protection of Information

• Encryption in Transit & At Rest: All data is sent over HTTPS/TLS. Stored data in our PostgreSQL database on AWS is encrypted at rest.
• Access Controls: Only authorized Brieflyy personnel and systems can access your data.
• Secure Infrastructure: We host on AWS and follow best practices (firewalls, intrusion detection, regular audits).

Disclosure of Information

• We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
• We do not share your meeting content, transcripts, or account details with anyone outside Brieflyy.
• We may disclose information only if required by law (e.g., court order) or to protect our rights.

Third-party Integrations

Google Integration Privacy

Brieflyy uses Google APIs to allow users to connect their Google accounts and access their Google Drive content for enhanced productivity features such as meeting document summarization, task extraction, and guide generation.

Trello Integration

When you connect your Trello account, we only access the boards, lists, and cards you explicitly grant us permission to interact with. This includes creating new tasks, updating existing ones, and tracking progress based on your meeting transcripts and AI-generated tasks. Your Trello data is used solely to power the features you opt into, such as task export and organization of meeting outcomes.

We do not sell or rent your Trello data, nor do we share it with any third parties for marketing or other purposes. Your Trello data will only be used to provide our services, and we maintain strict controls to ensure your information is handled securely.

Data Collection and Usage

Data accessed via your Google account is not used to develop, train, or improve any generalized AI or machine learning models unless we obtain your explicit consent.

Google Drive: When you connect your Google account to Brieflyy, we request limited access to your files on Google Drive. We only retrieve the data required to perform specific actions you initiate—such as processing files to generate summaries, tasks, and guides.

We store Google Drive data only as long as necessary to provide you with the requested services. Once the data is no longer needed, or upon your request, we will delete or anonymize the information from our systems.
We do not collect unnecessary data and do not access your emails, contacts, or any other unrelated Google data.

Trello: Similarly, Trello data will only be retained as long as required to support the features you're using, such as syncing meeting tasks with your Trello boards. If you revoke our access or terminate your account, any Trello-related data will be promptly removed.

We do not share your Google data with any third party, except when absolutely necessary to provide our core services (e.g., secure cloud hosting). Any such sharing is done under strict confidentiality and data protection agreements.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your Google data is retained only for the duration needed to provide our services. We do not store your files permanently.
You may revoke access to your Google account at any time through your Google account permissions page.

You may also delete your Brieflyy account and any associated Google data through the in-app settings under the "Delete My Account" option.

Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security practices, including:

• Encryption of data in transit and at rest
• Access restrictions based on roles
• Regular audits and monitoring

Only authorized personnel with a need-to-know basis can access user data. Human access is strictly controlled and logged.

We do not serve ads based on your Google data. We do not allow human access to this data unless:
